Director of Coaching
Wendouree Cricket Club have created a Director of Coaching (DoC) role for the 2023/24 season and beyond. This role would suit an enthusiastic and innovative cricket coach with contemporary experience of coaching at Club or Representative Level.
The DoC will be responsible for coordinating the coaching structure and programs for the 5 Senior Men's Teams at our club. The DoC will also hold the position of Senior Club Coach and with the committee of management, appoint assistant and specialist coaches as required to form a high performing and dynamic coaching panel.
The DoC will possess strong communication skills and be an influential leader who can further develop the positive club culture. A person who demands accountability and leadership among all players with a sound contemporary knowledge of skills (technical and tactical) would be ideally suited to this position.
An ability to plan, organise and implement training sessions with the aid of Assistant and Specialty Coaches will see the DoC take Wendouree Cricket Club to the next level of performance.
A remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
