Wendouree Cricket Club

Girls & Womens Cricket
The Wendouree Cricket Club is the leading club in the Ballarat Cricket Association.
We are fortunate enough to have some great facilities and modern, clean change rooms. We are a club that is safe, inclusive and respectful. We set the standard for others to follow both on and off the field. When people think of the Wendouree Cricket Club, they think of a successful, family friendly and professional sporting club.
If you're a female wanting to get into cricket or your daughter, partner or granddaughter is interested, then you couldn't pick a better club to be part of.
The Wendouree Cricket Club was one of the founding clubs in what has now become a very popular Ballarat Women's Cricket Competition. We are passionate about women's sport. We want to see girls and women have equal access to sport and opportunities to be their best.
From humble beginnings in 2017 when the first 'All Girls' competition started in Ballarat (when we had around 5 regular players) to 2024 when we had a full Under 17 girls team, Under 14 Girls Team, Under 11 Girls Team and a Senior Women’s team - we have come a long way!
The senior women’s team is open to any girls or women who want to play cricket. There is no age restrictions for this competition, although it is primarily aimed at girls who have finished our junior program and women who would like to play cricket.
